We had an assignment in our creative writing session, where we were asked to put our senses to a test and describe the color purple-the way it feels, sounds, and tastes..Ya i was a bit confused at that moment until i ventured deeply into this vista..
THE MOST INTERESTING assignment that i had ever come across..I got to read one of my class mates' essay, and felt it was well woven. She'd fuelled my thinking. That article was so detailed, she said that it tasted like a lip balm which is tasteless ^^ .
Colors... such an essentiality of life.
I always wonder that what/how would a visually challenged see or describe color to be? I dont know, but i have this what i call a "special ability"[or maybe not] to see a color which i think of by just closing my eyes..its like this..if i think of blue, voila! i see it but with closed eyes.[try it if u can]what would a blind see, if he had such a"gift"?
I am a color sensitive person..i even have crazy thoughts of puking out, if i get to see a disturbing shade of green while travelling..There are some really tranquilling shades of green though. I have my backpack with this "rare" shade of green, which I am really proud of..
There are billions of shades, then you have hues and tints?????
Check this link..God must have done a great job up there a tedious one..he did not make the world monochromatic..and better still he gave me eyes to absorb in soooooooo many of these visually splendor"ful" thinx which play in front of my eyes..thank you god for giving me eyes..
my favorite color on the list(right now) is blue....another one in the list of billions..I own blue tees, jeans, bags..was shocked to know so much on it...click here
